The images contained within my “Cambridge in Colour” collection are from in and around the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Cambridge is one of the oldest universities in the world and is rich in history and tradition. Although one university, Cambridge is composed of 31 separate colleges, each with its own community and architectural style. This history and diversity no doubt makes Cambridge uniquely scenic, however in low-light it comes alive with a moody atmosphere that brings out character. I have thus chosen to capture many scenes in this gallery by using long exposures during rare twilight or moonlit conditions—taking the viewer to magical places which visitors seldom see.
Дизайн сайта, как и полагается по статусу, изысканно сдержан. Любопытно выбран содержательный формат сайта. С одной стороны это фотогаллерея фотографий Кембриджа, с другой, причем большей, это ресурс посвященный теории цвета и практическим приемам работы с цветом. Есть раздел про общую калибровку монитора. Вообще необходимо отметить достаточное количество предоставляемого матриала и простой английский язык, которым изложены материалы. Так же очень радует высокий уровень иллюстраций, что, по моему глубокому убеждению, является неотъемлемой частью любого качественного изложения.
